Palladium is pleased to announce the appointment of Akiva J. Kurland, CPA as new Chief Financial Officer

In the wake of the continued growth success in the firm's investment banking activities, Palladium Capital Advisors has hired Akiva Kurland to serve as Chief Financial Officer. “We are excited to add the talents and experience of Akiva Kurland, who we believe will be instrumental in facilitating the tremendous growth we anticipate for the firm over the next 12 months”, said Joel Padowitz, CEO. “We consider it a mutual vote of confidence that we have attracted such talent at such a competitive time in our industry.”

Mr. Kurland brings a diversified background of accounting, compliance, and oversight in the financial services industry. Immediately before joining Palladium Capital Advisors, he was the Controller at Searock Capital Management, a hedge fund with $750 million of assets under management. Prior to Searock, Akiva was a senior auditor at Ernst & Young, working in the asset management group and focusing on hedge funds and broker-dealers. Before Ernst & Young, Mr. Kurland served as a staff accountant in the hedge fund audit and administration group at Rothstein Kass & Co. Akiva earned a BS in Accounting from Brooklyn College, CUNY, is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of New York and is a member of the AICPA.
